Filing a DMCA Notice

To file a DMCA notice with us, you must send a written communication that includes substantially the following:

Identification of the copyrighted work

Identify the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed, or – if multiple copyrighted works are covered by this notice – you may provide a representative list of the copyrighted works that you claim have been infringed.

Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing

Identify the material that you claim is infringing (or to be the subject of infringing activity) and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, and information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate the material, including at a minimum, if applicable, the URL of the link shown on the website where such material may be found.

Information to contact you

Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address at which you may be contacted.

Statement of good faith belief

Include the following statement: “I have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

Statement under penalty of perjury

Include the following statement: “The information in this notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner of, or authorized to act on behalf of, the owner of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed.”

Counter-Notice Procedure

If the recipient of a DMCA notice believes that the notice is erroneous or that the allegedly infringing material has been removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification, the recipient may submit a counter-notice to us. A valid counter-notice must include the following information:

Identification of the material

Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.

Statement of good faith belief

Include a statement made under penalty of perjury that the recipient has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled.

Recipient’s contact information

Provide the recipient’s name, address, telephone number, and a statement that the recipient consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the recipient’s address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that the recipient will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
